AIP has invited its members to join it on a virtual tour of OF Packaging’s local manufacturing plant based in Carrum Downs, Victoria on Wednesday, February 17 from 10-11am.

OF Packaging provides flexographic print packaging options primarily to the horticulture, pet food, produce and bakery markets through its local business Plasticover Australia.

Through the virtual tour, participants will be taken on a detailed walk-through of the flexographic central-impression printer and colour management services that are available on-site, as well as both the solvent-free lamination and film slitting machinery.

The tour will end with a look at the multiple pouch and bag converting machines, and the in-hour laboratory for product testing and quality control.

Participants will gain a better understanding of the entire manufacturing process for flexo-print, large-format packaging, and view the important aspects of production, which ensure the best outcomes for packaging made in Australia.

This virtual tour is available for AIP members only and the OF Packaging team, including managing director Joe Foster and marketing manager Jessica Ansell, will be available for questions during the tour.
