TNA Solutions will preview its tna robag Quantum packaging platform in North America at PACK EXPO International 2026 in Chicago from 18–21 October, ahead of its planned release in 2027.
The VFFS platform, which made its debut at interpack, is designed to produce up to 300 bags per minute using a single tube, subject to bag, film and product type. TNA says the system is intended to help food manufacturers increase capacity within existing facility footprints and reduce maintenance, cleaning requirements, product and material waste.
Rather than increasing output by adding bagmakers, the tna robag Quantum is designed to increase output per tube, according to the company.
The platform includes autonomous setup capabilities and software intended to reduce manual calibration and reliance on specialist operator expertise.
“North American food manufacturers are under increasing pressure to deliver greater output and protect profitability while managing rising operating costs, labour constraints and growing production complexity,” said Mukul Shukla, vice-president, North America, TNA Solutions.
“At the same time, consumer demand remains resilient but is evolving. Wellness trends, portion control and greater product variety are increasing the number of pack formats and product configurations manufacturers need to manage.”
Shukla said manufacturers are increasingly being required to run smaller pack formats and a wider range of products on existing production lines.
The tna robag Quantum is part of TNA's integrated systems, which combine distribution, seasoning and packaging technologies.
TNA will showcase the platform at Booth N-5109 during PACK EXPO International 2026.
