Ishida (represented in ANZ by Heat and Control) will showcase its ACP-701 case packer at this year’s Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai (Hall 3, Stand #D3-4), highlighting the machine’s ability to deliver high-speed, compact, end-of-line automation for snack producers.

Capable of handling up to 12 cases per minute, the ACP-701 combines continuous motion operation with gentle product handling, making it ideal for fragile snacks such as chips and extruded products. Its compact footprint enables easy integration into existing production lines, while tool-free changeovers and up to 500 programmable presets give manufacturers flexibility to switch between bag sizes, pack patterns and case formats with minimal downtime.

The system integrates case forming, bag handling, compression, closing and sealing in one machine. It accommodates a wide variety of bag styles – including pillow, side gusset, flat bottom and HEM – across widths from 108mm to 330mm, without the need for parts changes.

For processors focused on efficiency and sustainability, the ACP-701 reduces breakage and waste while incorporating energy-efficient components to cut material use and power consumption.

The case packer is also designed to operate seamlessly within Ishida’s Total Packaging Solution (ITPS), enabling full integration with the company’s multihead weighers, bagmakers, checkweighers, seal testers, metal detectors and printers. Operators can manage the complete line via a single preset, maximising throughput and line performance.

Visitors to Gulfood Manufacturing will be able to see the ACP-701 in operation and learn how it supports high-volume snack production through automation, product protection and energy efficiency.
