This development responds to common hazards such as collisions with forklifts, pallets in transit, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).

The Floor Barrier is engineered as an independent safety measure, compatible with Axelent’s existing impact protection range, X-Protect, and machine guarding system, X-Guard. It is described as straightforward to install, requiring only two fixings per section even when spanning up to 2.77 metres.

The system is designed for efficiency, with a setup process that minimises the need for major modifications to existing layouts. The Floor Barrier can endure impacts up to 3000 J with less than 200mm deflection over a span of 1.77 metres, ensuring robust protection against typical industrial hazards.

Axelent Australia aims to provide practical and compliant safety solutions to protect personnel and infrastructure.
