When CeMAT Australia opens its doors in Sydney on 22 July, visitors looking for the next leap in materials handling automation will find it on stand N14 with HMPS Propac.

Now that Australian packaging-automation specialist HMPS Propac has become Otto Motor’s Australian distributor and integration partner, it will also be delivering world-leading Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) with the same care and level of expertise as HMPS’ primary-to-end-of-line packaging solutions.

HMPS Propac has 40-plus years’ experience designing and building reliable, high-performance machinery for the food, beverage, dairy and industrial industries across Australia, New Zealand and other markets.

Its local service teams are backed by a centralised customer service team and three factories in Australia, providing support throughout the build and life of the machine.

Otto Motors is a pioneer of safe, autonomous intralogistics with millions of operating hours and zero collision-related injuries.

Its AMR range covers 100kg tote movers through to 1500kg pallet transporters, all orchestrated by Otto fleet manager for traffic-smart routing and effortless scaling.

For manufacturers, the tie-up means a single trusted provider can now automate everything – from primary pack to warehouse dispatch, and with the whole line being commissioned and supported by the same local HMPS team.

“With Otto AMRs, we extend HMPS automation beyond the packaging cell to the warehouse door – delivering seamless, safe flow of products through the entire operation,” says chief revenue officer at HMPS Propac, Adam Read.

“Specs on paper are great, but nothing beats seeing a digital twin plan routes, balance traffic and react to what-if scenarios in real-time. Drop by, see the sims yourself, and quiz our engineers on how we would integrate AMRs into your plant,” Read adds. “You’ll leave with a clear roadmap and maybe a few ideas you hadn’t thought possible.”

Visitors can also hear first-hand from Read, along with the wider team, as they unpack the real-world ROI of AMRs in a panel discussion to be held during the tradeshow.

“Our panel will cut through the hype,” Read says. “We’ll explore how the latest autonomous technologies are reshaping intralogistics and highlight what to keep in mind as you move toward a smarter, more connected operation.”
