Just in time for AUSPACK 2022, APPMA Australian Machinery Manufacturing Award finalist, Trimatt Systems, will be launching its FoldLine 9000 into the FMCG industry.

Specifically adapted, the automation machine expertly feeds, folds and glues packaging sleeves used for food trays.

With a digital printer and ValidForm variable data reader added, the FoldLine 9000 can also ensure an application is error-free by reading and collecting unique data from printed media, and monitoring in real-time the performance of the printed job, while checking for missing records, duplicates, mismatch and poor quality.

Waste reduction and increased output are significant features of the add-ons, and labelling machinery can also be added prior to validation for broader scope.

Integrating printed items into a single self-mailer unit once took time and any number of staff, but now, Trimatt says that packaging and print companies can add value, without worrying about time spend double or triple handling their clients’ products.

“Trimatt’s FoldLine 9000 system offers the very latest integrated media packaging through a print finishing system that produces compelling, creative packages that drive revenue and build customer loyalty,” said Matt Johnson, managing director at Trimatt.

“Ideal for sleeves used in FMCG, financial, retail, bindery and fulfilment, magnet, self-mailers, gift card and greeting card applications, this versatile system offers the finishing capabilities that make printed products stand out in a crowded market.”
