Amcor is supplying French hair care brand Luxeol with a customised version of its Prima jar for Luxeol’s curl mask, incorporating post-consumer recycled (PCR) material and a design tailored to the brand.

The pack includes a bespoke lid developed for Luxeol, featuring the brand’s pink colour and its name embossed on the top. Paired with a translucent outer jar, the design aims to improve shelf presentation while maintaining the brand’s visual identity.

The lid and inner jar are manufactured from PCR polypropylene (PP) using Amcor’s CleanStream technology, which produces recycled polymer suitable for contact-sensitive applications such as personal care products.

Because the pack is made entirely from PP, the jar is recycle-ready and can be recycled where appropriate recycling infrastructure exists.

The jars are produced at Amcor’s factory in Belignat, France, providing a local manufacturing base for Luxeol.

Hamza El Mastassy, Luxeol, said, “Packaging is an important part of our promise to focus on responsible innovation and sourcing in our development of high-performance beauty products.”

“Aesthetics are a core part of our brand offering and by partnering with Amcor, we have achieved a beautiful new pack that has over 50 per cent PCR content and can also be recycled,” he said.

Marine Sueur, regional sales director at Amcor Rigids Packaging Solutions International, said the company is working to develop packaging that supports sustainability goals in the beauty sector.

“For Luxeol, our ability to customise a standard offering has delivered a solution that supports the company’s premium positioning, strong branding and sustainability commitments,” she said.
