Peacock Bros and Assta Label House were among the buyers of Currie Group's digital printing and finishing equipment on show at PacPrint. In this video interview, Mark Daws walks PKN down the line.

As PacPrint drew to a close, an estimated $7m worth of sales had been concluded by Currie Group, some pre-show sales announced at the event, and some walk-on sales.

One of the most impressive exhibits was the brand new, and first of its kind in Australia, HP 8000 press (sold to Peacock Bros) set up on the stand with the ABG Digicon series 3 inline finishing unit (sold to Assta Label House).

Mark Daws, Currie Group GM Labels and Packaging, gives us a quick rundown of the equipment in this video:

The HP Indigo 8000 offers the opportunity reshape mainstream production by handling the longest and most demanding jobs with a simplified workflow and greater flexibility,” Daws said.

“The economics of the HP Indigo 8000 allows the potential for converters to shift towards full digital production capability, with both enhanced performance in print quality and new colour capabilities."
