The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) has released a new round of WorldStar award-winning Best Practice case studies, focusing on packaging design across sustainability, food waste reduction and accessibility.

The case studies, now available on the WPO website, were presented during the Sustainability & Save Food working group meeting at interpack.

Nerida Kelton, vice president at WPO, said the case studies were developed “to showcase global award-winning best practice in the areas of Sustainability, Save Food and Accessible packaging design”.

“In this round we have 7 new case studies from Respray refill from Hungary (Tubex), Miguel Anton, Spin Jug, Safe & Green Punnets (Smurfit Westrock), Don Deli Cuts, (Don Smallgoods), Resource Recycling Project (Shionogi Pharma) and All PP refill (Samhwa Co Ltd). We encourage everyone to read about their globally recognised award-winning packaging designs and be inspired by their journeys.” she said.

The WPO publishes a broad range of case studies on its website and releases new ones each year.

The case studies can be accessed here.
