Result Group will present a combination of product identification, packaging automation and traceability technologies at Hort Connections 2026, including EcoMark Natural Branding, QR-enabled traceability and the ATGA Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform.
From 1–4 June 2026 at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the company will run live demonstrations showing natural branding on selected fresh produce, alongside QR-enabled product information and connected packaging systems designed to support product origin, compliance and supply chain visibility.
A key focus will be the ATGA Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform, developed by Result Group with the Australian Table Grape Association and industry partners for the table grape sector. The platform connects product, packhouse and supply chain data through QR-enabled labels and digital tools, and is designed to work with existing grower systems and export traceability infrastructure.
The system integrates industry standards, partner technologies and data pathways intended to support growers, exporters and supply chain operators. It is designed to simplify data management, reduce reporting complexity and support export requirements while limiting operational changes. According to the company, it also supports compliance reporting, supply chain visibility and reduced manual data handling.
The project incorporates collaboration across the traceability ecosystem, including GS1 standards, software and data integration partners, and technologies such as temperature monitoring and digital product information.
“The ATGA Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform is something we are incredibly proud to be part of. It has been built for the grape industry, with a clear goal: to make export traceability more practical, accessible and valuable. It supports compliance, strengthens trust in Australian produce and gives growers a simpler way to connect existing data with the needs of modern export markets,” said Michael Dossor, sales director at Result Group.
Alongside the traceability platform, Result Group will demonstrate EcoMark Natural Branding, with live laser marking on selected fresh produce. The technology applies branding, origin or campaign information directly onto produce, reducing the need for stickers or additional packaging.
Visitors will be able to see the marking process and personalise produce with their name or company name during the event.
“Fresh produce already has a story. Natural branding helps make that story visible. With EcoMark, we can create opportunities for branding, traceability, sustainability messaging and personalised consumer engagement directly on selected produce,” said Dossor.
The company will also present new developments in its EcoMark Natural Branding campaign at the event, building on a previous avocado project with Costa and The Packaging Hippie. The latest iteration is intended to explore applications across different produce categories and marketing uses.
Additional demonstrations will include clamshell coding and labelling, carton coding and box labelling systems for packhouses, exporters and logistics operations, as well as QR-enabled product information linking produce to origin and supply chain data.
Result Group will also highlight its recognition as a PIDA finalist across four categories: Marketing; Labelling & Decoration; and Sustainable Packaging for EcoMark Natural Branding; and Outside of the Box for the ATGA Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform.
“We want people to come to the stand and experience the technology. They can watch produce being laser marked live, take away something personalised, explore the ATGA traceability platform and talk to our team about how these solutions could work in their own operations,” said Val Skyba, marketing manager at Result Group.
Hort Connections 2026 takes place at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 1–4 June, where Result Group will exhibit at Stands 210 and 211.
