Recycled soft plastics from iQRenew’s NSW processing facility are finding new life in durable, Australian-made products through Rawspec, a new brand launched by Holloway Group to demonstrate circular economy manufacturing at work.

Made using 100% Australian-sourced recycled resin, including post-consumer soft plastics (LDPE) and recycled polypropylene (PP) supplied by iQRenew, Rawspec transforms household waste into practical, high-performance products – from storage crates and pails to construction materials.

The rollout of the 23 durable product lines begins this month, with products set to reach major retailers and local councils across Australia in the coming months.

“For too long, Australians have been told that soft plastics couldn’t be recycled,” said Matthew Holloway, owner and director of Holloway Group. “Rawspec proves that’s no longer true – it’s happening now, here in Australia. We’re turning household waste into reliable, Australian-made products that people can use every day.”

iQRenew’s soft plastics processing facility on the Mid North Coast of NSW produces certified resin pellets that form the foundation of the Rawspec range. As previously reported by PKN, it is the first large-scale facility of its kind in Australia.

“Australians have been calling for a solution to recycle household soft plastics,” said Danial Gallagher, CEO of iQRenew. “Through our collaboration with Holloway Group, we’re proud to deliver this new material stream, turning waste into a valuable resource that fuels Australian manufacturing.”

With Australians generating over 538,000 tonnes of soft plastics waste each year, Rawspec represents a tangible circular economy solution – closing the loop between household recycling and local product manufacturing.
