The Australasian Bioplastics Association (ABA) has launched a redesigned website to support certification of  compostable products in Australia and New Zealand.

The platform provides businesses, regulators and government bodies with guidance, industry resources, and a simplified pathway to access ABA’s certification and four verification programs.

“From the outset, the focus was on simplicity and usability,” said Sandy Lokas of WaveCRM, which developed the platform. “By streamlining the certification journey and improving access to industry information, the platform helps businesses engage with bioplastics more confidently and make informed decisions.”

Martine Poulain, ABA CEO, said the website “represents a significant step forward in how the bioplastics industry can access reliable information, navigate certification, and engage with best practice standards.” She added that the platform provides “everything businesses need to move from information to action”.

The website allows businesses to begin certification online, access fact sheets and industry insights, and navigate an intuitive digital interface designed for fast use.

The platform also supports ABA’s role in promoting certified compostable alternatives and biobased products, which the association says contribute to a circular economy.

The new website is live now.
