Amcor will bring packaging technology to life at Pack Expo International, with live machinery demonstrations, interactive design tools and formats spanning consumer, healthcare and industrial markets.

At booth S-3500, visitors will be able to explore flexible, rigid and speciality carton packaging for healthcare, grocery, beverage, foodservice, pet care, industrial, home, beauty and personal care applications.

The showcase will include Amcor’s sustainability assessment tool, featuring more than 160 packaging comparisons across carbon footprint, water consumption, energy use and evolving extended producer responsibility requirements.

Visitors can also explore packaging formats in different shopping environments through Amcor’s retail experience platform, while the Amplify finishing technologies tool will demonstrate the potential of print and tactile effects.

Live demonstrations will include the Amcor Liquiflex vertical form-fill-seal packaging system for foodservice products and the Amcor Moda Bag system, which produces and prints vacuum shrink bags on demand for meat and cheese packaging. Stretch film demonstrations will focus on load stability, film use and pallet-wrapping performance.

Amcor films will also be running on machinery at partner booths throughout the convention centre.

Award-recognised developments on display will include the AmPrima recycle-ready refill pouch and Amcor HealthCare reclosable pouch, both recipients of 2026 AmeriStar Awards.

Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions is also a finalist in the 2026 Pack Expo Technology Excellence Awards for DecoFusion, a tube-decoration technology designed to support material reduction and higher recycled content.

Amcor experts will present two sessions during the show: Insight to Impact: Unlocking Sustainable PP Packaging with AI-Accelerated Design and Packaging Sustainability Myth Busters: Beliefs that Brands Still Get Wrong.

“Amcor has designed an immersive Pack Expo experience where visitors can explore packaging solutions across markets, formats and materials,” said Mary Johnson, senior director at Amcor.

Pack Expo International takes place in Chicago from 18–21 October.
