JL Lennard will be demonstrating Rovema’s new BVC-260 vertical-form-fill-seal bagger with 'Premium Seal' technology. Recently awarded Best Packaging Machine 2014 by the German Packaging Institute, the BVC-260 uses a patented sense and seal technology that closely monitors the sealing process by comparing force-closing movement subject to sealing jaw position in real time. This allows unprecedented high quality seals with leakage resistance of less than 0.01 micron, increasing seam strength by as much as 50 per cent without compromising performance. Simply, this means product remains fresher for longer. Bags with product trapped in the seals can be easily rejected without stopping the machine, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime significantly.

With a top speed of 240 sealed bags per minute, the twin-axis continuous motion bagger uses industry standard components and energy efficient drives where braking energy is stored or fed back into the mains.

The BVC-260 has a new modern and open design with full access to the filling area, a hygienic closed tube frame, making it an ideal choice for confectionery, snack foods, frozen and fresh foods.
