Growing contract manufacturing and packing business, Multipack, which last year opened a brand-new food facility, has now expanded its suite of services with the installation of a new purpose-built TGA-approved packaging clean room.

The TGA licence allows the company to undertake packing of medical devices, pharmaceutical products, and complementary medicines.

Also on-site is a purpose-built temperature-controlled TGA-approved storage facility for up to 100 pallets.

Commenting on this next step in Multipack's expansion, company sales and marketing director Brad Devine told PKN it was a move made in response to growing demand from the therapeutic goods sector for this type of specialist service.

"We have a dedicated therapeutic goods team ready to assist clients with a full suite of contract packaging services for their pharmaceutical products.

"Multipack now offers industry-leading contract packaging under its FOOD, RETAIL and PHARMA business units, with each business operating under the highest level of accreditation appropriate for that sector."
