Victorian dips and yoghurt manufacturer Chris’ Dips has won the CHR Hansen Award for most innovative product (judge’s choice) at this year’s 2015 DIAA Australian Dairy Product Competition for its premium Heritage Dips range.

With a Greek heritage behind its product recipes, Chris’ Dips has been producing its popular dips and yoghurts for over three decades.

The packaging for Chris’ Dips award-winning product involved a terracotta pot with an alucap lid, which was then sealed with an Ilpra FS2500.

The installation of the Ilpra FS2500 filling and sealing machine was undertaken by Jet Technologies' Dean Gleeson, part of Jet's flexible packaging team, along with an Italian engineer from Ilpra.

As one of Ilpra’s close partners for many years, Jet Technologies has built up a long-standing knowledge and expertise on installing Ilpra machinery, which was what allowed the team to come up with the best solution for the seal on the terracotta pot.

“This installation demonstrated the perfect collaboration between Jet Technologies, our supplier Ilpra and our customer Chris’ Dips to ensure the project was delivered on target to a very satisfied customer,” Gleeson said.
