The Good Design Awards are prestigious. That's not only because they've been run for more than half a century.

They are seen as the top tier of the world's showcases for innovation and excellence, and promote new products and services via mainstream media channels, websites, exhibitions and international trade fairs. The trademarks that successful entrants get to wear, Good Design Selection and Good Design Award, are globally respected.

They are known to open doors.

Entries for the 2015 Good Design Awards officially close next Friday, 20 March. It's time to press send. Entries have been coming in from around Australia and throughout the world.

Dr Brandon Gien, chief executive officer of Good Design Australia, stated, “Innovation has been the buzzword in business and government for many years, but without a design based approach it can send a business in circles without any tangible, commercial outcomes. When it comes to designing any modern business – design needs to be on the first page of any business plan and strategy.”

“With just under two weeks to go, we’ve already had some brilliant submissions come through across seven different categories. It’s shaping up as our biggest year on record. We’ve been blown away by the diversity, quality and imagination from this year’s submissions.”
