US-based logistics automation specialist Numina Group has formed a partnership with Result Packaging to represent its packing, picking and shipping systems in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

"Numina Group has seen an increased interest from Australian companies for technologies that deliver increased throughput and labour savings," the president of Numina, Dan Hanrahan, said.

"It's critical to have a highly reputable and technically competent local partner to support our family of distribution automation technologies.

“Our partnership with Result provides Australia-based distribution and warehouse operations cost effective solutions to achieve higher profitability and a fast return on investment."

Numina products to be sold through Result include: Pick Execution modular picking systems; Smart Pick Cart, a cart-based picking solution; and X-Press PAL in-line packing and shipping technology.

To launch the new relationship, Result will provide customers a free one-day site evaluation over the next six months to assess the potential benefits to customers of adopting the Numina technology.
