Director and CEO of online ready meal business FivePointFour, and recent winner of the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award (USA), Tamara Trentain will be divulging winning strategies in her business model at our annual LIVE industry forum in Sydney on 22 August.

Speaking to the forum's theme, Future Unpacked – Industry Game Changers, Trentain will share the FivePointFour success story – how using no capital and just 'sweat equity' she took this business from under $500,000 to over $10 million, with $2 million profit in under two years.

Trentain will talk about what makes this ready meal business different to others in the market, how it engages with millennials and its partnership with The Hunger Project.

President of the Brisbane chapter of The Entrepreneurs Organisation, Trentain is passionate about helping businesses that are stuck at the $500k earning mark, and has recently embarked on a new venture that will see her working with small businesses to give them the tools and venture capital to “break out of the middle and shoot for the big league”.

Trentain is one of a dynamic line-up of company founders who will be speaking at our LIVE forum, including Jules Lund of Tribe Group, Troy Douglas of Nexba, Steve Chapman of Shine, and Monica Meldrum of Whole Kids, who will talk about how they're doing things differently and taking their brands to new places.

If you haven't attended one of our full-day LIVE events before, this will be the year to do it.

Future Unpacked – Industry Game Changers is a PKN+ Food & Drink Business LIVE event, and will take place on 22 August at the SMC Conference Centre in Sydney.
