The Daily Drinks Company commissioned Victoria-based label manufacturer Labelmakers and Lion Packaging to create a simplified adhesive neck tag for its juice bottles.

The tag was made to assist the company in advertising a fresh new promotional message.

Labelmakers partnered with packaging equipment supplier Result Group to create an adhesive tag that is automatically attached to the bottle lid while on the production line.

They used a compact label applicator called the Herma 400 which has a modular construction system.

According to Result Group, this type of promotional information usually hangs loosely over the bottle neck, but fails to offer much content space.

Nor is there a guarantee that the neck tags will stay on the bottles up to the point of purchase.

The adhesive neck tag, however, uses standard, pressure-sensitive materials and is easy for the production site to process with limited changes to the existing process.
