Robotic palletising, stretch wrapping and conveying specialist JMP Engineering has been announced as the latest packaging company to be signed up as a member of the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA).

Founded in 1972, JMP is a privately owned and operated manufacturing and engineering company with over 260 robotic palletising systems sold worldwide.

The company has machines and systems in the USA, Australia, Indonesia, China, Fiji, Malaysia, South America and the Middle East in a variety of industries.

JMP Engineering recently scooped the pool at the APPMA's Awards of Excellence, announced at the AUSPACK PLUS show in Sydney.

JMP took out three awards from the six announced on the night. The company was named the winner of the Export Achievement Award for its corner board applicator and stretch wrapping system, the Customer Participation Award for its automated palletising and stretch wrapping system for Pepsin Group and the Export Achievement Award for its Kawasaki-manufactured and -supplied robots integrated with its turnkey solutions.
