The Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) has awarded flexible and specialty rigid packaging manufacturer Printpack a Silver Achievement Award for its technical innovation.

The award honours Printpack for its work in solving the challenge of applying photochromic ink to a flexible film.

The innovation made its debut at PACK EXPO Las Vegas late last year, and has generated a new packaging category which gives brand owners a unique way to interact and engage with customers.

Winners of the 60th Annual FPA Flexible Packaging Achievement Awards were announced on 1 March at an awards ceremony in Florida.
