Shaun Westcott has joined robotic and automated packaging company HMPS as its new CEO.

Westcott is an experienced CEO who has developed and implemented strategies for growth in both commercial and operational roles, working in senior management and executive positions in renewable energy, forestry, mining, and beverage manufacturing.

He has a keen understanding of lean manufacturing and developing an integrated value chain, according to the company.

Mark Emmett was formerly managing director of HMPS and has now stepped into the role of executive chairman.

“As our company keeps growing, we have identified a need for more systems and quality requirements which need to be met," Emmett said.

"Shaun’s knowledge of operational procedures and his keen understanding of lean manufacturing is assisting us in streamlining our internal processes and offering customers a slicker and even more professional HMPS experience."

In other news, HMPS was recently announced as a finalist in the Impact Awards 2017, a program designed to assist with the globalisation of the South Australian economy.

The judges were impressed by the company's year-on-year growth, advancement, and ambition.
