The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) has announced its latest member company, with conveyor specialist Ferag Australia joining the fold.

Ferag, part of Switzerland's WRH Marketing Group, has a long history of supplying turnkey conveying solutions to the newspaper and commercial print market, and in more recent years has used this expertise, combined with its Denpiro range of conveyor technology, to diversify into supply and installation of speciality conveyor systems for the food and packaging markets.

Denipro, like Ferag, is also a wholly owned subsidiary of the WRH group of companies. In operation for more than half a century, it has 1100 employees worldwide.

Its product range features a family of speciality conveyors based on technology that uses fewer drive motors to achieve less power usage, less cabling and fewer control systems.
