The Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association (AIPIA) will be holding its conference from 14-15 November in Amsterdam.

There will be talks on topics which include 'how to get consumers to scan product packaging', creating and leveraging smart packaging, packaging as a media channel, and the role of augmented reality.

With packaging a powerful marketing and brand protection tool, active and intelligent packaging can add a new dimension to the functionality and value of packs.

Companies offering products and services in this segment will present their solutions in the demonstration area called ‘Seeing is believing’ at the AIPIA Congress.

Exhibitors will be able to speak with major end users implementing A&IP solutions in order to market, protect, trace and enhance their products, as well as packagers who wish to extend their range of products to include active and intelligent features.
