Labelling and packaging materials manufacturer Avery Dennison Corporation has commissioned a high-speed hot melt adhesive coating line at its manufacturing facility in Bangi, Malaysia.

This latest investment is intended to serve customers’ in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand regions.

“This investment enhances our capacity to serve the growing Southeast Asia region, and sustain our hot melt portfolio for the Australia and New Zealand markets," Anil Sharma, vice president and general manager of Avery Dennison’s label and graphic materials business for South Asia Pacific and Sub Saharan Africa.

"The commissioning of the coating line marks a significant milestone in our company’s history – this facility in Bangi can now offer a total solution to our customers, affirming our position as the partner of choice for our customers.”

The Bangi facility is the first site for Avery Dennison in Southeast Asia which has a high-speed, hot melt coating capability.
