The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will run a half-day training course to help suppliers, packaging businesses and retailers understand Australia's Food Safety Packaging Standards and Regulations.

Held at Sydney's Oatlands Golf Course Club House on 22 July, attendees will learn about the standards and regulations in order to apply their knowledge to their own production and distribution situation. This will assist in saving waste, improving delivery and increasing profits.

The course content is based on consultation with industry specialists and delivered by leading names such as packaging research and development expert Pierre Pienaar.

Anyone involved in technical, engineering, procurement, design, quality assurance, technical sales and marketing, and packaging development is advised to attend.
