The Aerosol Association of Australia will run a workshop on the safe handling of aerosol propellants on 29 October.

Held at Monash Conference Centre in Melbourne, the event will suit anyone involved in the direct handling or transport of aerosol propellants, or working in close proximity to these flammable gases.

The industry training allows companies to further reinforce with workers the importance of safety requirements in an aerosol manufacturing and handling environment.

Delivered by experienced industry experts from the UK and Australia, the workshop covers: properties of flammable propellants and the common causes of fire; important propellant delivery and storage considerations; propellant handling in the aerosol factory; and preventative measures.

Cost is $470 for members and $940 for non-members.

Now, the company is investing more than $1 million to expand its production capabilities and support new product innovation.

Expressions of interest are now open for tenancy at the $17.14 million Central Coast Food Manufacturing Innovation Hub, expected to open in March 2026.
