BW Packaging, Barry-Wehmiller’s packaging machinery business, is combining its BW Flexible Systems, BW Filling & Closing and BW Integrated Systems divisions into one organisation. The company says the new structure will strengthen its ability to design and support fully integrated packaging lines and provide lifetime aftermarket care for customers globally.

“We couldn’t be more excited about what this transformation means for our team members, customers and industry partners,” said Rachana Creeth, president, BW Packaging. “The single BW Packaging structure positions us to solve our customers’ most complex challenges through integrated packaging solutions while enabling us to deliver on our core Barry-Wehmiller values.”

Denning Saum, chief product and marketing officer, BW Packaging, said the company’s aligned team will allow “more agile support and forward-thinking solutions” for customers worldwide.

Matt Venezia, chief commercial officer, BW Packaging, said existing contracts and purchase orders will remain in effect, and any future changes that may affect customers or suppliers will be communicated in advance.

The BW Packaging senior leadership team also includes Pete Carlson, chief operating officer; Eric Collier, chief automation & integration officer; Heath Eckert, chief finance & administration officer; Geoff Nykin, chief strategy & enablement officer; and Greg Wolf, chief strategic initiatives officer. Since June, the team has appointed more than 150 members to leadership positions to help guide the new organisation.
