BW Packaging is establishing the BW Filling & Closing division by merging its existing Pneumatic Scale Angelus and Synerlink businesses. This new division leverages the strengths of these legacy businesses to enhance product value streams for food and beverage manufacturers.

The BW Filling & Closing division will encompass a variety of brands, including Pneumatic Scale, Mateer, and Hema fillers; Angelus and Continental/Closetech seamers; Arcil form-fill-seal (FFS) lines; Dairy Pack fill-seal (FS) lines; and Burt labellers. This structure will continue to support legacy brands while providing lifetime support for its packaging machinery solutions.

Rachana Creeth, group president of BW Packaging, stated that this integration “aligns teams to better meet the needs of global customers” and aims to offer more focused product offerings for food and beverage manufacturers.

Greg Wolf has been named president of BW Filling & Closing. With over 30 years of experience in capital equipment and leadership roles at companies like John Bean Technologies and Brown Machine Group, Wolf expressed his excitement about leading the division, “BW Filling & Closing is fortunate to have capable leaders and a talented team driving us toward greater achievements in service of our customers.”

Bill Morgan, former president of Pneumatic Scale Angelus, and Jean-Félix Lesueur, former president of Synerlink, will take on key leadership roles in the new division. Morgan will focus on aligning products and optimising performance across multiple manufacturing sites, while Lesueur will oversee commercial efforts in the EMEA and APAC regions.
