Through the agreement, Packserv will provide what the company describes as SIAT’s “globally recognised” range of equipment, including case erectors, case sealers and pallet wrappers designed to improve packaging efficiency, consistency and line automation.

The addition enables Packserv to deliver modular production lines integrating filling, capping, labelling, printing, conveying, case erecting, case sealing and pallet wrapping, offering what it says is a scalable approach to packaging automation.

Nathan Wardell, managing director at Packserv, said the partnership extends the company’s capabilities in automation. “We are pleased to be a distribution partner of SIAT, extending our offering into end-of-line automation,” he said. “This addition allows us to deliver complete packaging lines, giving customers greater flexibility to scale production, improve efficiency, and reduce manual handling across their operations.”

The expanded offering positions Packserv as a single-source supplier for packaging machinery, combining Australian-made equipment with machinery from SIAT supported by local service and technical support.

According to the company, demand for automation and connected production environments is increasing, and the integration of SIAT equipment enhances its ability to design tailored solutions aimed at improving uptime, consistency and overall line performance.

Packserv supplies packaging machinery to FMCG, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and industrial sectors in Australia and internationally, covering filling, capping, labelling and conveying, alongside end-of-line systems supported by local service and flexible commercial models.

Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Turate, Italy, SIAT operates under the SIAT and COMBI brands, manufacturing equipment across case sealing, case erecting, cartoning, palletising and stretch-wrapping, and serving customers in more than 125 countries through a global network of distributors and direct sales operations.
