Kaeser Compressors has expanded its condensate treatment line with the launch of the Aquamat i.CF, an oil-water separator that the company says introduces active process control for the first time.

Designed for delivery volumes up to 90 m³/min, the system integrates the new Aquamat Control internal controller, enabling smarter operation, easier maintenance and cleaner servicing.

Wherever compressed air is produced, condensate is an unavoidable by-product. Before disposal as wastewater, oil must be removed. Conventional separators rely on passive gravity separation, with condensate trickling through a filter that absorbs oil. The Aquamat i.CF, by contrast, actively manages the process to ensure higher reliability and performance under demanding operating conditions.

Intelligent control and efficient operation

The integrated controller monitors condensate levels in the separator. When the maximum level is reached, it applies short bursts of compressed air to push the condensate through the filter cartridges. This maximises the absorption capacity of the cartridges, supporting dependable and resource-efficient operation. If a fault occurs, the system automatically issues a notification.

Another first is the controller’s ability to determine the remaining service life of the filter cartridges, based on load. As a network-capable unit, it also supports proactive maintenance planning and guides operators step-by-step through service tasks.

Cleaner servicing and safer handling

A further benefit of the active design is that cartridges are pressurised and empty at the point of replacement, making them lighter and easier to handle. Cartridge changes require no contact with condensate and are fully contaminant-free, protecting both service personnel and the environment.

With the Aquamat i.CF, Kaeser believes it has set a new benchmark for condensate treatment – combining reliability, hygiene and digital connectivity in a single package.

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) says it is not in a position to revise its guidance for FY16 due to lower-than-expected performance in China and distribution issues in California. The company said it was unlikely to meet FY26 depletion targets for Penfolds in China.

For more than 35 years, family-owned producer, Gourmet Dairy Co., has been manufacturing sauces, dairy and non-dairy products under its own brands and as a contract manufacturer for some of Australia’s most recognised labels. Now, the company is investing more than $1 million to expand its production capabilities and support new product innovation.

Expressions of interest are now open for tenancy at the $17.14 million Central Coast Food Manufacturing Innovation Hub, expected to open in March 2026.
