Heat and Control will present packaging and inspection solutions for coffee and tea processing at the Melbourne International Coffee Exhibition (MICE) 2026, marking its return to the event for a second year.

The company will show equipment for whole bean, ground coffee and tea applications, with a focus on packaging and inspection systems intended to reduce waste and protect product integrity.

Featured technology at the event includes the Ishida X-ray system, used to detect foreign objects and product defects, and the Ishida DACS checkweigher combined with a CEIA metal detector, providing integrated weight checking and metal detection across different pack sizes and production speeds.

Heat and Control said its integrated packaging and inspection systems can help manage giveaway and unnecessary waste across coffee production lines.

Robert Marguccio, business manager, packaging and inspection solutions at Heat and Control, said the company’s equipment is designed to suit a range of processors.

“Our solutions are reliable, scalable, and engineered to deliver long-term value for coffee processors of all sizes,” Marguccio said.

Heat and Control supports food manufacturers through brands including Ishida, CEIA, FastBack, Spray Dynamics and Urschel.

The company’s portfolio covers processing, conveying, weighing, packaging, inspection, and coating and flavouring technologies, offered as standalone equipment or integrated systems.

Heat and Control operates a Brisbane-based manufacturing facility and employs more than 270 staff across Australia, supported by a national service network of more than 15 technicians.

Heat and Control will exhibit at MICE from March 26-28 in Melbourne, at Booth D14.
