The EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) will run a series of free half-day seminars across Australia in February 2026, focusing on EtherCAT technology and its industrial applications.

The national seminar series will cover EtherCAT concepts, Industrial Ethernet, cybersecurity, and practical implementation, and will include success stories and guidance on real-world implementation.

The seminars will be held on 19 February in Perth, 24 February in Melbourne, 25 February in Sydney, and 26 February in Brisbane. Each event will run from 8.00am to 1.00pm and include presentations as well as opportunities to speak face-to-face with EtherCAT specialists.

Presentations will be delivered by Martin Rostan, executive director of the EtherCAT Technology Group.

According to ETG, the seminars are educational events and will outline the benefits and challenges of Industrial Ethernet, as well as how EtherCAT technology can be applied to industrial projects.

The seminar series is sponsored by Balluff Australia, Beckhoff Automation Australia, Kübler Group and SMC Australia.
