Original equipment manufacturer EDP Australia has introduced a solution to bulk bin handling – the Gantry bin tipper – manufactured in its Mooroopna, Victoria factory.

The company says the Gantry bin tipper facilitates the seamless feeding of various product types into multiple packaging lines, complete with fully automated flow control, tailored to the pack out rates. The unit can deliver products to various feeding hoppers, with a choice of different products.

EDP Australia says the system boasts the capability of accommodating multiple full bin stacks for both product feeding and empty bin retrieval. It is also gentle on the products, it ensures minimal product drops during the feeding process, making it suitable for various wet or dry product types.

EDP is a supplier of fresh fruit and vegetable grading and packaging solutions, including machinery and consumables, based out of Mooroopna, Victoria. EDP has serviced the Australian and export markets with packaging machinery since 1947. The company has developed strong associations with European manufacturers to add to its domestic and export market range.
