At this year’s Industrial Transformation Australia, which is co-located with CeMAT 2025, the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) will be introducing a new and exciting addition to the event with the debut of its Processing & Packaging Pavilion.
Powered by APPMA, the Pavilion will feature leading manufacturers, distributors, and innovators from across the packaging and processing sectors. Exhibitors will showcase cutting-edge solutions, with a focus on advancements in automation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
The Pavilion will offer exhibitors a unique opportunity to engage with a wide audience from broad and diverse industries such as digital transformation, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, and smart manufacturing.
“The APPMA Processing & Packaging Pavilion gives our members and the broader industry a focused, high-impact platform within the context of one of the region’s leading manufacturing events,” Michael Moran, CEO of APPMA, told PKN.
“It’s about ensuring the processing and packaging sectors are not only seen but actively recognised as critical to Australia’s industrial transformation.
“It’s a strategic opportunity to position processing and packaging as essential, tech-driven components of advanced manufacturing. We’re showing what the sector can do when given the right platform.”
The event is free to attend for visitors, ensuring maximum exposure for exhibitors and making it a prime opportunity for attendees to explore the latest in industry innovation, network with key decision makers, and discover new solutions for their businesses.
“We’re curating a full day of APPMA-led sessions with industry voices that are tackling the big questions – sustainability, automation, design for recovery, traceability and more. It’s a chance to learn, challenge thinking, and connect,” added Denni Egan, events and marketing manager at APPMA.
Aimed at fostering local industrial advancements while integrating them into the global narrative of industrial development, both Industrial Transformation and CeMAT serve as regional hubs for businesses to showcase innovations, connect with international markets, and explore new technologies, effectively mirroring the Hannover Messe experience on a global scale.
“The partnership with APPMA and the introduction of the APPMA Pavilion at CeMAT Australia marks an exciting new addition for the event in 2025, creating a dynamic space that bridges key areas of the supply chain, from packaging and processing to material handling, automation, logistics and warehousing,” said James Redshaw, sales manager at Hannover Fairs Australia – host of both events.
“It highlights the crucial connections between these sectors and the partnership underscores shared dedication to driving innovation and advancing industry in Australia and beyond.
“Months out from the event, the APPMA Pavilion, and the wider CeMAT event, is almost sold out and already drawing strong interest from attendees across industries – driven by the opportunity to connect with leading suppliers, discover cutting-edge technologies, and gain valuable insights through live education and expert-led presentations on the show floor.”
Taking place from 22-24 July at The Dome, Sydney Olympic Park, this biennial event serves as a premier platform for showcasing the latest innovations in packaging and processing technologies.
