The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) will return as a key partner for CeMAT and Industrial Transformation Australia (ITA) in 2026, with the APPMA Pavilion once again anchoring the processing and packaging sector at the event.

The APPMA Pavilion within ITA will spotlight the machinery, automation, and solutions powering Australia’s most important industries – from FMCG and healthcare to bulk product packaging and pet food.

For attendees, it’s a unique opportunity to connect directly with the suppliers behind the technologies that keep production and distribution moving every day.

"Building on the success of the 2025 Processing and Packaging Pavilion, where we facilitated countless new connections for our members and industry leaders, we are excited to return with even greater ambition,” said Michael Moran, CEO of APPMA.

“This partnership is a cornerstone of our mission to foster innovation and growth within the industry.

“The 2026 event provides the ideal platform to showcase leading innovations and collectively demonstrate how advanced packaging and processing technologies are building a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable future”

ITA will showcase the very latest in automation, data exchange, and IoT technologies, enabling manufacturers, technology providers, and business leaders to fast-track efficiency gains and digital transformation strategies.

Visitors can also expect insights that demonstrate how Industry 4.0 is reshaping operations.

“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with APPMA for ITA 2026. Their Pavilion plays a vital role in connecting our audience with the technologies and expertise driving Australia’s processing and packaging sector,” said Mike Nissen, commercial director at event organiser, Hannover Fairs Australia.

“Together with ITA, this partnership ensures ITA and CeMAT continues to deliver real value for the industries we serve.”

By bringing these two major activities under the CeMAT umbrella again, the 2026 event will deliver an unmatched platform for learning, networking, and practical evaluation of solutions that cut costs, improve resilience, and support sustainable growth.

CeMAT Australia will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in 2026, bringing together the region’s leading supply chain and intralogistics professionals.
