The guests were also addressed by Robert Laing, Messe Dusseldorf representative, who shared some insights on the upcoming Interpack taking place from 7-13 May in 2026, set to be the highlight of the global packaging industry's calendar next year. Laing noted that next year's show will centre on the three pillars of smart manufacturing, innovative materials, and future skills. The organisers expect 2800 exhibitors from 60 countries, and visitor numbers as high as 142,000.
