The annual FPLMA Print Awards highlight excellence in packaging print across flexo, gravure, digital, combination and innovation categories. According to FPLMA, each entry is judged against the highest standards of technical mastery and craftsmanship, making the competition one of the industry’s most prestigious showcases.

This year’s awards, which were presented in Melbourne on 22 August, saw RollsPack recognised for multiple projects, winning a total of eight awards, including three golds, three silvers and the two sought-after special recognition awards for Innovation and Best in Show (see full list below).

A moment of pride

The awards presentation reached its crescendo with the announcement of Best in Show. Introducing the category, FPLMA committee member Thai Nguyen and chair of the awards, set the stage with words that resonated across the room:

“This isn’t just a trophy – it’s a testament to what’s possible when passion, precision, and purpose collide. To be named Best in Show is to set a standard. It’s the crown jewel of the FPLMA Print Awards and represents the future of our industry.”

For RollsPack, taking top honours with Goodman Fielder Wonder was a defining moment.

In his address on the night, managing director Phillip Rolls reflected on both the wins and the road ahead. Opening with a call to industry leaders on the importance of harnessing new technologies, he remarked:

“Company directors and companies need to fully understand the future of AI. We must learn and control AI as a tool in our organisations, not let AI control us.”

He went on to dedicate the company’s success to peers, colleagues and staff:

“Winning these prestigious printing quality awards, and especially the coveted ‘Best in Show,’ fills us with immense pride and deep gratitude. To our fellow competitors – your innovation and talent inspire us daily. To my colleagues – your creativity and craftsmanship make every award possible. And to our dedicated staff – your precision and commitment behind the scenes are the foundation of our excellence.”

Rolls closed with a reminder of what award wins are really all about:

“These awards belong to all of us. They’re not just trophies – they represent the pursuit of excellence and the drive to keep pushing the boundaries of print.”

With this collection of top honours, RollsPack has not only demonstrated its technical capabilities but also reaffirmed its commitment to advancing print and packaging innovation.
