The facility includes insulation, passive and active ventilation, and electronic monitoring and management systems, with the site designed to consider local conditions and energy efficiency.

Detmold Cox said the relocation also aimed to retain the existing workforce.

“A vital component of the relocation was ensuring continuity of employment for our valued workforce thereby retaining our skilled team. We fully sponsored relocation costs for our employees and their families, and are delighted the majority of our workforce moved with us,” she said.

The facility is located 370km east of Mumbai in a region described in the release as a growing industrial hub.
