Taghleef Industries (Ti), a global producer of film solutions for packaging, labels and graphic arts, will host a programme of sessions at its booth during interpack 2026, including a series focused on industry trends, regulations and materials.
The Ti Talks programme is split into two formats. Morning sessions, titled Ti Talks – Inside Packaging, will present the company’s packaging and labelling solutions, materials and case studies, led by internal specialists.
Afternoon sessions, under Ti Talks – Beyond Packaging, will feature external speakers discussing developments across the packaging sector. These sessions will run daily at 3:00pm, except for 9 and 13 May, and are free to attend, with registration required.
Five themed sessions form the Ti Talks – Beyond Packaging programme.
On 7 May, Origins, Rewritten will examine shifts in the global resin market, including polypropylene trends, biopolymers, and developments in production across regions including China, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Emiliano Basualdo, senior analyst at ICIS, will speak.
On 8 May, Distinction, Amplified will focus on packaging design, including recyclability, digital tools such as product passports and smart labels, and the role of data in design. Speakers include Jean-Emile Potaufeux, technical manager at RecyClass; Dominika Maruszak, global packaging sustainability manager at Pepsico; Ulrike Danne, senior manager sustainability at GS1 Germany; and Joana-Maria Bauchwitz, ceo at Baries Design. The session will be moderated by Tim Sykes, at Packaging Europe.
On 10 May, Performance, Unleashed will address global trends and compliance, with contributions from Joachim Quoden, managing director at EXPRA; Guido Aufdemkamp, executive director at Flexible Packaging Europe; Scott Trenor, technical director at The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR); and Fiona Durie, advocacy consultant at CEFLEX. Tim Sykes will moderate.
On 11 May, Circularity, Increased will explore bio-based and biodegradable materials and their role in circular systems. Speakers include Fabrizio Radice, general manager at Corapack; Afsaneh Nabifar, chair of the board at Compostable by Design; Eric Klingenberg, materials science lead at Mars Advanced Research Institute; and Stan Haftka, business development manager at Kaneka Green Planet.
The final session on 12 May, Future, Accelerated, will examine how packaging, retail and consumer behaviour may evolve by 2030. Speakers include Boris Planer, consultant at Retail Cities; Nerida Kelton, executive director (AIP) at World Packaging Association; and Ton Knipscheer, executive director at ECPA. Tim Sykes will moderate.
