FlexLink has used interpack 2026 to unveil a new hygienic conveyor range designed for food processing environments, with a focus on simplified cleaning, modularity and space-saving production flow as the company looks to strengthen its presence across the full production cycle.

Exhibiting in Hall 6, Booth D31-D57, FlexLink is highlighting conveyor technologies designed around ease of cleaning and operational simplicity – a key requirement in food manufacturing environments where hygiene and rapid changeovers are critical.

Speaking with PKN Packaging News on the opening day of the show, representatives from FlexLink and Australian distributor FlexCAM said the new hygienic range had been developed to simplify both disassembly and reassembly, enabling faster and more effective cleaning between production runs.

The system is designed for use in food processing applications where stringent hygiene standards apply, particularly in raw food handling environments.

Alongside the hygienic conveyor range, FlexLink is also demonstrating its compact spiral conveyor system, which uses the company’s standard chain technology configured in a spiral format to elevate products vertically while minimising floor space requirements.

Another section of the stand showcases multiple conveyor functions integrated into a single modular system, including diverting, stopping and lifting operations, all based on FlexLink’s established chain-and-beam architecture.

In Australia and New Zealand, FlexLink has been represented exclusively by FlexCAM since 2018. Rob Winterbottom, technical sales engineer at FlexCAM, said the new hygienic range represented an important development for the local market.

“Historically, we’ve had less involvement on the processing side of food manufacturing,” Winterbottom explained. “These new hygienic products now allow us to support customers right across the production cycle – from raw product handling through to palletising.”

FlexCAM services a broad range of Australian industries including pharmaceutical, tissue, confectionery and biscuit manufacturing, with both aluminium and stainless steel conveyor systems proving popular locally.

FlexLink says its focus at interpack 2026 is on modular automation and flexible production flow solutions that allow manufacturers to optimise footprint, hygiene and operational efficiency within increasingly demanding production environments.
