Evolabel is showcasing two new print-and-apply labelling technologies at interpack 2026, targeting cold chain performance and compressed air reduction in logistics and warehouse operations.
Exhibiting in Hall 8B alongside long-term ANZ distributor Matthews Australasia, Evolabel is presenting its new Coldstore Range and the QuickTamp Airless print-and-apply system.
Speaking with PKN Packaging News at the show, Evolabel co-founder Martin Selin Dijkstra said the Coldstore Range had been developed specifically to address the operational challenges associated with low-temperature warehouse and cold chain environments.
The system is designed to operate at temperatures down to -30°C without requiring an external heated cabinet or enclosure – something Evolabel says is a first for the sector.
Standard electronic labelling systems are typically rated only to around +5°C, making cold storage applications particularly challenging for conventional print-and-apply technology.
Despite the extreme operating capability, the system maintains a compact footprint and allows good operator access, an important consideration in confined cold storage facilities.
Matthews Australasia CEO Mark Dingley said several Coldstore systems had already been installed in Australian cold chain operations.
The second major launch on the stand is the QuickTamp Airless, a fully electric print-and-apply system that eliminates the need for compressed air at the application point.
According to Evolabel, the technology addresses two common logistics and warehouse challenges: the difficulty of routing compressed air infrastructure to certain locations on a production floor, and the ongoing operational cost associated with compressed air systems.
By removing the air requirement, the system simplifies installation while also reducing infrastructure complexity and energy consumption.
Matthews Australasia has represented Evolabel across Australia and New Zealand for the past 12 years, with the partnership originally established at interpack 2014.
Dingley noted that Matthews Australasia’s acquisition of Reynolds Group approximately 12 months ago had strengthened the company’s ability to directly support customers across both Australia and New Zealand.
Evolabel, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, specialises in automated print-and-apply labelling systems for logistics, warehouse and industrial applications.
