The food processing and packaging equipment supplier will present a range of systems spanning weighing, packaging, inspection and processing integration, aimed at supporting applications including snacks, French fries and potato products, and prepared foods. According to Heat and Control, the technologies on show are designed to help manufacturers manage rising throughput demands while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.

A central focus of the company’s interpack presence will be the HCI Snack Solutions alliance – a strategic partnership between Heat and Control and Ishida that brings together complementary processing and packaging capabilities.

The collaboration combines Heat and Control’s expertise in product handling and processing with Ishida’s packaging, weighing and inspection technologies to deliver fully integrated snack production lines. The approach is intended to provide manufacturers with coordinated systems covering the full process flow, from product handling and seasoning through to weighing, bagmaking, inspection and end-of-line packaging.

Reflecting the close collaboration between the two companies, Heat and Control and Ishida will exhibit side by side at interpack. The booth placement is designed to allow visitors to engage with specialists from both businesses and explore how integrated systems can simplify project implementation and improve line performance.

According to Robert Marguccio, business manager – Packaging and Inspection Systems at Heat and Control, integration between processing and packaging has become increasingly important as snack producers push for higher output and improved efficiency.

“As snack manufacturers look to increase output while maintaining efficiency and product quality, integration between processing and packaging has never been more critical,” Marguccio said.

“At interpack, HCI Snack Solutions demonstrates how Heat and Control and Ishida work together to deliver a fully coordinated line approach. By combining our expertise, we help customers simplify project management, improve productivity and optimise overall line performance.”

Visitors will be able to explore a complete snack packaging line featuring several key technologies from the partnership, including the Ishida Case Packer, the Ishida Inspira Bagmaker equipped with an Auto Splice feature, and Heat and Control’s FastBack 4.0 Horizontal Motion Conveyor.

In addition to the integrated line demonstration, Heat and Control will present an application-focused product display designed to highlight real-world processing and packaging scenarios. The showcase will feature a range of products commonly handled by Heat and Control systems, enabling visitors to identify equipment and configurations suited to their specific production requirements.

According to the company, the interactive display is intended to help manufacturers better understand how different technologies can be combined to address specific processing and packaging challenges.

Heat and Control will also host daily live demonstrations at its stand, where visitors can discuss equipment configurations and line optimisation strategies with the company’s engineering and applications specialists.
