BW Packaging, Barry-Wehmiller's packaging machinery business, will be showcasing it latest solutions for bagging, filling, closing, labelling and end-of-line challenges at interpack 2026, to be held from 7-13 May in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Visitors to hall 6, stand C79 will experience Angelus seaming, Hayssen VFFS bagging and Sleevit labelling machines – all operable through BW Packaging’s award-winning OpView HMI.

Attendees can also find information on BW Packaging’s SYMACH palletisers, which produces stable, even pallets to protect product integrity. Additionally, attendees will find information on solutions from some of BW Packaging’s other top machine brands including Arcil, Dairy Pack, Zepf Solutions and more.

“Interpack marks an important milestone for BW Packaging as we bring our leading brands together under one unified company,” said Denning Saum, chief product and marketing officer at BW Packaging.

“By uniting the deep expertise of our trusted brands, we’re better equipped to solve real customer challenges – whether that means individual machines or fully integrated packaging lines.

“Wherever our customers operate, they can rely on BW Packaging for reliable solutions, deep expertise and long-term support across the entire packaging process.”

Hands-on displays at the stand will include the newly designed Angelus 12V Seamer, which delivers the same rugged design and dependability customers have come to expect of BW Packaging’s Angelus brand.

As part of the Angelus V-Series seamer product line, the new 12V-1 design includes enhancements to significantly reduce changeover time, enhance cleanability, lower total cost of ownership and utility consumption, and deliver patented innovations for lightweight can handling.

It is ideal for running cans with diameters up to 300 (76.2mm) at speeds from 400 to 1800 cans per minute, and is suitable for both food and beverage applications.

Visitors will also be able to see the Hayssen CM Verus in action, which is a continuous-motion VFFS bagger ideal for high-speed packaging of frozen food, produce, shredded cheese and snack products.

The flexible packaging machine provides reliable performance, a hygienic design for wet environments and features a new and improved Quali-Seal+ sealing technology for polyethylene films that improves speed and quality.

Also on display will be the Sleevit Direct Feed (DF) Series Shrink Sleeve Applicator, built for fast, flexible application of tamper-evident or partial body sleeves.

With a servo-driven film feed, tool-less changeovers and speeds up to 300 containers per minute, the DF Series delivers precise sleeve placement across a wide range of container sizes and materials.

Like all equipment on eth BW Packaging stand, the Sleevit shrink sleeve applicator will feature BW Packaging’s award-winning OpView HMI.

“What’s special about OpView is that regardless of an operator’s experience level, they can use its modern interface to easily set up, operate and troubleshoot the machine,” said Joe Ambrose, director, Innovation-Controls at BW Packaging.

“It’s even available in multiple languages. It’s a highly valuable solution for manufacturing operations where scarcity of experienced operators is a common challenge.”

In addition to the equipment on display, visitors can also learn more about end-of-line and changeover solutions from BW Packaging’s SYMACH and Zepf Solutions brands.

A SYMACH palletising display will highlight how the brand solves industry-wide labour issues with advanced palletising technology. The SYMACH brand is known for producing stable, even pallets that protect product integrity and improve end-of-line efficiency across food, agricultural and industrial applications.

Visitors can also explore Zepf Solutions’ tool-less change parts systems, proven to dramatically reduce changeover downtime. Zepf’s quick-change design, lightweight components and permanent stainless-steel cores not only provide faster changeovers, but also safe, consistent container handling.
