Ampack will present a new dosing technology for aseptic bottle filling at interpack in Düsseldorf from 7 to 13 May 2026. The system is designed to reduce foaming during the filling of liquid foods such as baby food, clinical nutrition, or drinkable meals.

The modular smartFill dosing unit of the FBL filling machine ensures maximum filling accuracy for liquid to highly viscous foods.

The piston plunges fully into the bottle and guides the product along the inner wall through side openings, reducing foam and protecting the product. Depending on the format, the system can fill up to 36,000 bottles per hour. “The response has been very positive, several customers are already using the new dosing unit in their daily production to their full satisfaction,” says Markus Schlumberger, managing director of Ampack.

The technology is part of Ampack’s FBL linear bottle filling machine, launched in 2024, which can fill preformed HDPE, PP, and PET bottles and is suited for aseptic applications that do not require refrigeration.

Ampack will also present its after-sales service, including spare parts supply, maintenance, wear parts management, and preventive maintenance. “We consider ourselves a partner throughout the entire life cycle of the machine. We even go one step further to ensure the entire filling line runs smoothly,” says Joachim Riegg, director of service at Ampack.

Thanks to its flexible handling and sterilisation system, the FBL fills different bottle formats and materials while protecting the product.

At interpack, the company will display its dosing units alongside its cup-filling units and other technologies such as a multi-sealing head. Ampack’s stand is in Hall 6, Booth B29.
