Automation products manufacturer SMC is using its AUSPACK booth to highlight a threefold message on its strength in support, modernisation and conservation.

Rodney Ryan, state manager for Victoria said, “During Covid we adjusted remarkably well to remote support, but now restrictions are off we are focusing on face-to-face support, it is key to what we do.

Pointing to one of the cobots on the booth Ryan said, “We are also committed to bringing a range of automation products to the market that will enable packaging producers to modernise their plants.”

Also on the stand was the SMC mobile factory, a fully functional miniature in the back of a ute, that the company will take to packaging plants to demonstrate how moderning the air compressors and using the latest systems will provide more environmentally friendly production.

In this AUSPACK video interview, Rodney Ryan, Melbourne state manager for SMC Australia, speaks with Wayne Robinson on the company's AUSPACK message.
