HP’s Specialty Printing Systems division is bringing OEM technology to stand H200 at AUSPACK 2019 that can help enable better product identification, coding, and marking.

Its stand will feature the new HP 22mm print head and the HP 2590 print cartridge, which it says have high print quality that will allow brands to benefit from advanced product identification, anti-counterfeiting, and track and trace through smart barcodes and more data-rich coding.

According to HP, the Scanning Imager 1300, leveraging HP thermal inkjet technology, offers OEMs a proven, versatile, colour inkjet printer mechanism that minimises development cost and effort, and speeds time-to-market. It now offers a snap-in/snap-out feature for printhead assembly, available with HP pigment, dye, and approved third-party inks, the company says.

HP 2590 ink provides industry-standard durability on untreated BOPP, claims HP, as well as excellent durability on treated BOPP and a wide variety of other substrates, including PE, PET, UV, aluminum foil and PVC.
