TecnAir will exhibit a range of pneumatic and hydraulic solutions on stand B020 at AUSPACK 2019, including from partner Piab.

The company will display its 316 stainless steel cylinders, which are manufactured in the UK and can be supplied either bespoke or to the ISO 15552 standard. Alongside these will be its pneuma-hydraulic cylinder, which is a co-axial drive comprising two integral elements: a pneumatic drive unit to provide power, and an integrated closed circuit hydraulic drive to provide accurate speed control.

TecnAir’s vacuum monitoring system will also appear, which the manufacturer says was developed to oversee and provide the operator of a vacuum lifting device a confirmation, both visual and audible, that the intensity of the vacuum pressure and grip of the suction cups has not been compromised.

Additionally, Piab’s piCobot gripper for collaborative robots (cobots) will feature on the stand, as well as a range of grippers under the Kenos brand.

Food & Drink Business

Australia’s native food industry has received a boost – with Indigenous-owned Cooee Foods Australia acquiring native ingredients suppliers, Creative Native Foods – placing it under First Nations ownership for the first time in its 25 years.

The Top 10 remained a stable list this year, with five companies holding their position – Fonterra (#1), JBS (#2), Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (#3), Asahi (#4), and Thomas Foods International (#7). The biggest change was Treasury Wine Estates dropping out of the list, from #10 to #13.

Food & Drink Business and IBISWorld present this year’s Top 100 companies, a ranking of Australia’s largest food and drink companies by revenue. This year reflects a sector positioning itself for immediate term viability and long-term competitiveness.
