Australia’s Robot Technologies-Systems Australia (RTA) will showcase a top-end range of robotics systems at AUSPACK on stand 293.

The Kawasaki YF03 Hi-Speed Precision ‘Pick and Place’ Robot with vision system has a shaftless design that is easy to maintain, simple to program and features industry-leading payload capacity, reach and ultra-high speeds of up to 222 cycles per minute.

The “Y series” high-speed pick & place robots are ideal for a wide range of applications, including food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics production lines, as well as the assembly and placement of electrical, electronic, and machine parts.

Working well with people, the Kawasaki dual arm SCARA duAro collaborative robot occupies only a space equal to one person.

Robot technologies still

The duAro’s arm is 76cm long, similar to an average person’s working range.

Low-power motors and a speed-reducing function helps the duAro to coexist with people in customers’ work operations. Also, in the event of a collision with people and other objects, the collision detection function will make the duAro’s movement stop.

The duAro dual-arm robot's two coaxial arm configuration, controlled by a single controller, makes it possible to perform coordinated movement.

The wheeled base on which the arms are placed accommodates the controller. This enables the user to move the robot together with its base to any location desired.

By holding the robot’s arms allows the user to easily teach the robot the movements required of it.
